ELF LOUISE Announces Change of Leadership
William “Bill” Harrison retired as the Executive Director in January 2025 after 35 years of dedicated service. He will remain an active core volunteer with Elf Louise. Bill began his journey with the organization as a gift wrapper in 1990 and was quickly elected to the Board of Directors. One year later, he assumed the role of Executive Director.
Karen Gordon, who has volunteered with Elf Louise for 23 years, succeeded Bill Harrison as the Executive Director. In 2024, she worked closely with Bill to learn the day-to-day operations of the organization and continues to seek his guidance.
Both Bill and Karen look forward to spreading the joy of Christmas to the children of San Antonio in the years to come.
