SANTA ROOM HELPERS: Greet the Santa’s as they arrive for their appointed routes during Santa Delivery hours. Prepare and help San Antonians, both men and women alike, magically transform into the Big Guy – Santa Claus!! When the Santa’s return from their appointed rounds assistance is needed to turn Santa back into a mere mortal, to properly store the Santa suits, and launder all of the Santa Wigs and Beards. Suggested age is 17 years old and up. To volunteer, click the Volunteer Spot button below.
All of the thousands of toys received by the Elf Louise Project that are destined for delivery to San Antonio children must be unboxed and stacked in age appropriate locations on shelves and pallets in preparation for gift wrapping activities. Toy stocking takes place at the project site. Suggested age is 15 years old and up. To volunteer, click the Volunteer Spot button below.
WAREHOUSE HELP: This is the group that makes it all happen! All of the thousands of toys that have been carefully wrapped and prepared for the Santa routes need to be taken to their assigned route storage spot in the warehouse. As the Santa Delivery teams begin to arrive at the Elf Louise site and prepare to leave on their appointed delivery rounds the bags need to be brought from the warehouse, matched with the appropriate Santa team, and loaded into Santa’s awaiting vehicle (aka the Sleigh!) Suggested age is 17 years old and up. To volunteer, click the Volunteer Spot button below.
Checkers pack and prep the Santa bags for the Santa Deliveries. This is an important step in making sure each child in the family has something to open for Christmas. This is the final check before the bags go out to the children so attention to detail is important. Checkers need to be at least 18 years of age. This position can be physical and requires a lot of standing and some lifting (of the Santa bags) so you will want to dress appropriately and wear comfortable shoes. If you are interested in being checkers, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 210-224-1843.
