Santa Team Delivery

What we really, really need are teams of volunteers to deliver toys. It takes a bit more commitment (and a vehicle), but it is a tremendous amount of fun! Each Santa team delivery consists of 3 adults (minimum):  1 person to be Santa Claus (we have a complete costume for him or her), 1 person to drive, and 1 person to help Santa (since he/she can’t see well while wearing the wig and beard.) We only dress Santa. Everyone else is on their own costume-wise.  There will be annual Elf Louise t-shirts for sale. If you have a large group, you can have two or three Santa teams, and we’ll put you in the same geographical area or give you an apartment complex.

Santa suits generally fit an average-sized adult. We attempt to fit all Santa sizes, but cannot guarantee a suit for small or large sizes.

Santa must be at least 18 years old and have a valid license or government-issued ID. Each Santa can keep the suit; no need to return it to us after deliveries are complete. If you are so inclined, we will accept an optional $20 donation to defray the cost of the suit. If you are a repeat Santa, you can store them for next year!

Delivering toys takes about 2-3 hours, depending on the side of town you deliver. Playing “Santa” makes for a whole lot of fun with family and friends, and as a bonus, you bring the joy and spirit of Christmas to many less fortunate children.

If you haven’t delivered toys before, please attend a Santa Orientation, which will give you all kinds of helpful hints on making your deliveries successful. Briefings last about an hour.

Recommendations – bring a flashlight and wear comfortable shoes or sneakers.

Santa Teams deliver toys beginning in mid-December. Delivery times during the week are in the late afternoon to early evening. Weekend deliveries are in the late morning to early afternoon.
